League of Legends (LoL) e-sports 'Defending Champion' T1 reached the top of the world again last year. T1 defeated China's Bilibili Gaming (BLG) with a set score of 3:2 in the 2024 League of Legends World Championship final held at the O2 Arena in London, England, on the 3rd (Korean time) and lifted the 'Summoner's Cup.'

T1 gave up the first set due to BLG's strong initial pressure but balanced it by taking care of the second set with concentrated operation.

With this, T1 and Faker wrote the record of winning the League of Legends World Championship 5 times for the first time in LoL e-sports history. This is the first time since the first tournament in 2011 that a team has won the League of Legends World Championship twice with the same main member (Zeus-Owner-Faker-Yushi Kuma-Keria).

T1, the game team representing LoL Korea League LCK, set a record for the first two consecutive international stage championships in 2015 and 2016, starting with winning the League of Legends World Championship in 2013 when it was 'SK Telecom T1,' and even after changing the team name to T1, it topped the 2023 League of Legends World Championship held in Seoul.
