Chelsea and Man City both scored a combined 8 goals, tied the score, and came from behind over and over again, putting on an all-time great match. This match was the 12th round of the EPL held at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea's home stadium.
The game is tense at the beginning, but Cucurella tripped Haaland inside the penalty box, and a penalty kick is awarded. In the 25th minute of the first half, Haaland scored the first goal with a penalty kick. However, 4 minutes later, in a corner kick situation, Gallagher's cross hit Thiago Silva accurately, leading to an equalizer. In the 37th minute of the first half, Sterling, who had been penetrating into the box with a cross from Reece James, finished the game and succeeded in scoring a comeback goal. However, in the 46th minute of the first half, Bernardo Silva's cross hit Akanji's head precisely and a headed goal allowed Manchester City to quickly equalize.
