Tottenham drew 1-1 with West Ham United in the 31st round of the 2023–24 Premier League season at London Stadium on April 3 at 4:45 am (Korean time). Son Heung-min played his 400th game for Tottenham, becoming the 14th player in the club's history to achieve this milestone.
Tottenham and West Ham United clashed in a fiercely contested match at London Stadium. The game began with West Ham exerting early pressure, with Kudus creating an early chance. However, Tottenham took the lead in the 5th minute as Johnson scored from Werner's cross. The lead didn't last long, as West Ham equalized through Jutkiewicz's header from Bowen's corner in the 19th minute. Both teams continued to create chances, with Tottenham's Porro and Son testing the West Ham defense, while West Ham's Bowen and Antonio threatened the Tottenham goal. The first half ended 1-1.
In the second half, West Ham started brightly, with Antonio and Mavropanos forcing saves from the Tottenham goalkeeper. Tottenham responded with efforts from Madison and Son, but neither could find the net. The game remained intense, with both teams pushing for a winning goal. In the closing stages, both teams had opportunities to score, with Bowen going close for West Ham and Madison missing a chance for Tottenham.
