The Japanese government and the Tokyo Electric Power Corporation announced that they will start discharging Fukushima-contaminated water to the sea on the 5th of next month.

On September 11th, Tokyo released all 7,800 tons of Fukushima-contaminated water, the first discharge, into the sea. There were no problems in the process of the first discharge, and the discharge proceeded smoothly. They reported the news of the second discharge shortly after confirming that the first discharge had been completed.

Tokyo announced that they will start discharging from October 5th after collecting and measuring contaminated water to check whether the tritium concentration discharge standard is satisfied. They said they would release about 7,800 tons, the same amount as the first discharge, over about 17 days from the 5th.

People may think this is not a big deal, but if Tokyo makes any mistakes, all countries are likely to get disadvantages. Because they release contaminated water into the oceans shared by the world. In particular, Japan's neighboring countries, South Korea and China, are expected to suffer a lot of damage.
