The Moscow concert venue was attacked by armed attackers. The attackers opened fire with automatic rifles. Then they set fire to the building for the concert hall and fled. Fires burned in Crocus City, and the roof of the venue had partially collapsed.

More than 140 people were injured, and at least 133 people were killed on Friday evening. Moreover, most of the people who were injured in the incident are in serious condition, including children. The Russian authorities say the number is likely to keep rising as emergency responders work through the scene and the number of emergency patients increases.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the Moscow concert venue attack.

Russia has raised the connection with the Ukrainians because gunmen tried to escape to Ukraine, but the U.S. and Ukraine refute it. There is a war of nerves over the responsibility behind the terrorist attack.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia would observe a national day of mourning on Monday to remember the 133 victims of the concert hall shooting. Russian President Vladimir Putin said, “The whole country, our whole people, mourns with you.”
