On August 21st, at 6 p.m., the sibling duo AKMU composed of Suhyun Lee and Chanhyeok Lee released their fourth single, 'Love Lee’, on various music streaming platforms.
'Love Lee' is an album released after a 2-year hiatus, making a comeback with a song that captures the emotional sentiment of their early days as a way to repay the anticipation of their fans and engrave AKMU's initial impression on the public.
The title track, 'Love Lee,' combines an acoustic sound with rhythmic drums and adds a touch of sensuous vocals. This cheerful courtship song is reminiscent of AKMU's previous love songs. The distinctive title 'Love Lee' cleverly incorporates the word 'Lovely' and the shared last name 'Lee,' creating a wordplay that signifies charm. Furthermore, the song is a collaborative effort, with Lee Chanhyuk responsible for lyrics and composition and skillful producers MILLENNIUM, SIHWANG, and ROVIN contributing to elevating its perfection.
The second track, 'Dream of Fry,' features bouncy synth sounds and an addictive chorus. The lyrics metaphorically liken a fried egg to an uplifting message. After receiving continuous love from dedicated fans since its initial performance in 2014, it has been included in this single.
