Golden, which will be released on the 3rd, is an album based on Jungkook's Golden Moment. A total of 11 songs will be included, including "Standing Next to You," a retro-punk song that modernizes the disco-punk and old-school sound. Jung-kook explained, "This album contains things that can best show me who I am now."
Jungkook has become a global pop star by achieving amazing performances on major overseas charts. For example, his previous song ‘Seven’ topped the U.S. Billboard's main single chart "Hot 100" and ‘3D’ topped the "Daily Top Song Global" by Spotify, the world's largest streaming company.
The album Golden has all the songs in English lyrics, which adds strength to Jungkook's move towards the global stage. Succeeding the previous 2 albums, this album is also highly anticipated.
"As it is an album prepared for the overseas music market, I chose English songs overall," he said. "Although it was very difficult to pronounce while recording, I am so glad that the song came out well."
