Kalido Koulibaly was a Napoli legend and won the best defender in Serie A. Thus, he was expected to perfectly replace Antonio Rudiger, who left Chelsea and transferred to Real Madrid the previous season. However, Kalido Koulibaly's performance in Chelsea was below expectations. Therefore, Chelsea decided to sell him.
