LG Uplus's content-specialized studio, 'STUDIO X+U,' has announced the production of a new horror mystery series titled 'Tarot.' The casting lineup, revealed on the 16th, includes Dex (Kim Jin-young), Jo Yeo-jung, Park Ha-sun, Ko Kyu-pil, Seo Ji-hoon, Lee Joo-bin, and others. 'Tarot' unfolds the cruel destinies of individuals trapped by the curse of tarot cards in each episode, with a total of 7 episodes.
Dex, known for a strong presence in various entertainment programs, will be featured in the 'Please Dispose of It' episode. Additionally, actress Jo Yeo-jung takes on the role of the protagonist Jiwoo in the 'Visit from Santa' episode, while Park Ha-sun plays the lead role in the 'Landlady' episode. Ko Kyu-pil, who gained popularity for his role as Chorong in 'The Outlaws 4,' is set to deliver a chilling performance in the 'Late-night Taxi' episode. Actors Seo Ji-hoon and Lee Joo-bin will appear in the 'Individual Storage Locker' episode, promising a fresh mystery chemistry.
This project, born from the collaboration of award-winning novelist Kyeong Min-seok ('The Prisoner of Yeonok') and director Choi Byeong-gil, known for dramas like 'East of Eden,' 'Missing Nine,' and 'High Class,' is anticipated to provide intense impact by exploring various themes of horror. 'Tarot' is currently in full swing with its production, and viewers can expect a diverse array of mysterious and thrilling charms.
