On March 21, 2012, the 6-member boy group BTOB, which debuted under Cube Entertainment, was on the verge of renewing their contract this year. Given that it was their second exclusive contract renewal, they carefully discussed the matter for an extended period. On November 6, 2023, Cube Entertainment, in an official statement, conveyed a regrettable outcome, stating, "We have decided not to renew the contract through mutual agreement." As a result, BTOB members Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lee Changsub, Im Hyunsik, Peniel, and Yook Sungjae, who have been active together for 11 years, will be discontinuing their activities as a group.

Over the years, BTOB had established themselves as a prominent artist group in Korea, known for their exceptional singing skills and hit songs like "Missing You," "Pray," "Beautiful Pain," and more. BTOB's dedicated fanbase, known as Melody, expressed deep sadness upon hearing this news. While they may no longer see the group in its entirety, fans are looking forward to the members' solo activities and future endeavors. It would be wonderful to support BTOB on their new journey.
