Blackpink's Jennie released a special single titled "You & Me" on the 6th of this month at 1 PM. "You & Me" was a previously unreleased song that Jennie showcased during the Blackpink world tour. The song features Jennie's sweet vocals against the background of a full moon to create a dreamy mood and contain a message of love.
After receiving love from fans worldwide during the world tour, Jennie decided to release the special single as a way to reciprocate the support. The single includes both the original version and a remix version performed at the U.S. Coachella Festival, showcasing different rap parts and their unique charms.
In South Korea, Blackpink's Jennie quickly rose to the top of music apps like Naver Vibe and Bugs, and on Melon, she continues to climb the charts. Moreover, she achieved the #1 position on the iTunes song charts in a total of 53 countries worldwide. Once again, Jennie is demonstrating the power of global K-pop girl groups.
