2023 Hawaii wildfire, was it just an accident?

On the 8th, a Hurricane named “Dora” struck Hawaii. Hawaii was dry due to a recent drought, but Hurricane Dora made the situation worse by creating a strong, dry east wind. This resulted in about 110 deaths and about 1,000 missing. The cause of the forest fire is known to be a flame caused by the power line being cut off by strong winds.

There were many problems when the government investigated the company that manages the electric wire that was blamed for the forest fire. Power facilities were not built strong enough to withstand strong winds, and even when a fire forecast was issued due to strong winds, they didn’t turn off the power which caused more huge disasters.

There was also a problem with the Hawaiian government, and when the wildfire broke out, about 80 emergency sirens installed on Maui Island didn't work, and communication and radio were disrupted, delaying people from escaping.
